In 2013 John acquired the award winning firm of Home Sweet Home Conveyancing at Mooloolaba. It was decided that the firm would branch out into other areas of law and not concentrate on Conveyancing and so John re-branded the firm to HSH LAWYERS.
John's background is some 24 years in the Queensland Public Service rising to the rank of Clerk of the Court at Noosa and Acting Magistrate. In 1989 John resigned from the service to take up private practice. He worked in firms in Gladstone, Yeppoon, the Sunshine Coast and Morayfield before establishing his own firm in 1991. That firm closed in 1997 and John undertook a variety of legal type work and in 2000 became an employed Solicitor in Beenleigh and in 2002 John founded Compass Legal Solutions, which he still owns.
In 2016 John acquired the firm of Jenkins Lawyers at Noosa and has incorporated that firm into the HSH family. In 2017 John opened another office in Nambour to service the needs of clients in the hinterland and the rapidly growing demands for its services. In 2019 John decided that it would service the needs of all clients if the offices amalgamated and so in July 2019 the Nambour and Maroochydore offices joined and relocated to exciting new street front premises.
John has a vast experience in most facets of the law and has practiced in law from all sides as an Acting Magistrate working for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and as a Defence Lawyer. With his team of dedicated legal and support staff and a network of affiliates John is confident that any legal problem you may have can be over come by his team.
